Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are upgrade components that can be put into armor, weapons and trinkets to provide a bonus. They are generally more expensive and require the item is of an appropriate rank.
Items that have very high requirements typically don't see any value in upgrading. This is especially relevant for items such as the Titans of eth that do not have a lot of variation.
Glyphs
After reaching level 50 in Diablo 4, the action-RPG from Blizzard is able to take a step away from its simple campaign to the final phase. After level 50, Diablo 4's action-RPG shifts from its streamlined campaign into the endgame.
Glyphs play a key role in this progression. Glyphs' stat attributes and affect radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are several ways to acquire these upgrades, but most players will find themselves relying on the most common method: raiding Faction Crypts.
The Glyphs panel lets you add glyphs to your text by choosing them from the menu on the left of the screen. The Glyphs panel displays glyphs that are based on the font that your cursor is located. You can change the font or style, and narrow the list to include only punctuation symbols by choosing an option beneath Entire Font. When you hover your mouse over a glyph, you can see its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
The Glyphs Panel will keep track of your last 35 glyphs and show them under Recently Used in the first row (you need to expand the panel so you can see all 35). You can also clear this list by right-clicking, or Control-clicking, a glyph in the list and selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
Another benefit of the Glyphs panel is the ability to create and edit an individual glyph set which is useful when you have to write certain types of text often. This will help you save the hassle of manually inserting each glyph whenever you require it.
upgrade item can have a maximum of 30 glyphs. This includes the base name as well as its suffix. The glyphs in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9) and underscore (_). The suffix can also include ligatures or contextual alternatives. These are special variants that combine two or more letters into one glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the primary mechanic that offers bonuses on items, including extra stats. Upgrades come in different kinds: reroll levels up, recycle and reroll. Each upgrade type comes with a unique set of extra bonuses on an item.
Reroll Tokens can be used to alter the item's base stats and upgrade number. They can also be used to reroll substats in rings. This is useful when an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is less than a player desires, or if the item's substats currently aren't optimal.

Rerolling is a cost of 1 token and will reset all upgrades to an item but will leave the rarity, set and level unaltered. When an item is upgraded, it increases its level and, with each tier, the primary stat is boosted by +3, and a random extra stat is boosted alongside it. The ability to level an item to its highest possible level increases its tier by 1.
The Blueprint Desk allows players to buy new Appliances, Ingredients and decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They can be opened with the Grab. Each blueprint has a unique icon, with each type of upgradable item displaying various icons:
Certain recipes require the use of certain Appliances or Ingredients, and these are available by selecting the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, meaning they won't be available in the Shop or on rerolls, while others have a greater chance of being available when the franchise card of a particular brand is selected at the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all the items will stay for the duration of the game. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The magic happens when you use the third "R," recycling. You can benefit the environment by recycling a product made of recycled materials. Most recycled products are returned to the manufacturer from which they came to be remade into an entirely new product. We refer to this as "closing of the loop of recycling."
When a person puts something in their curbside recycling bin it is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorted. Then, it gets offered to manufacturers who can re-make the product. Items that are typically transformed into new products include:
This process helps reduce the need to plant harvest, extract or extract raw materials from the Earth to make something new. This in turn reduces the amount of damage that is caused to the natural world; fewer trees are trimmed down and rivers diverted, as well as wild animals are displaced. It also reduces the amount of pollution that is caused by the dumped substances into our water, soil and the air.
Recycled products help keep local businesses and jobs thriving, especially for those who specialize in recycling materials. This is because the demand for these products can encourage companies to take part in this eco-friendly effort.
The final reason to buy recycled products is that it requires less energy to create new products using recycled materials than to create them from raw materials. This is due to the manufacturing process of making a new aluminum can requires 95% more energy than the production of the same aluminum can made from recycled material. This is why every little bit is important.
Leveling
Most units can level up and gain XP each time they attack or are attacked. This can be used to increase their primary stats or unlock additional improvements on the unit's development tree. Weapons are a good example of this, since they can be upgraded by increasing their damage and range.
item upgrading require a certain number of levels to be reached but this may differ from game to game. Making use of coins or other materials is the only way to go up. Most systems employ both, though some make use of one.
The issue of leveling can be a challenge in many games because it makes some units too powerful, and other units can't compete with them. It is best to limit the amount of leveling that a player can do, requiring them to make a choice on what they wish to upgrade and why.
